I bought this for my sister who has arthritis, what I didn’t know is how much it would help me too. I’m registered blind and I’ve struggled with normal kettles as I have to put my hand near the cup to make sure that the water goes in. We have been using our new Uccello Kettle for a few weeks now and are really pleased with it. Not only does it look good in the kitchen but it has also given my Mum back some of her independence. As she has gotten older, her arthritis has caused her to lose strength in her wrist and making tea has become quite cumbersome at times. She no longer needs to rely on others to help her make a cup of tea. She can now pour out the hot water directly into her cup or teapot without having to lift a heavy kettle in the process. This makes her much less likely to spill scalding hot water and has given me greater peace of mind.
