Our founder and inventor of the Uccello Kettle, Andy De Petra, had chronic pain caused by arthritis in his hands. Andy designed and created our Uccello Kettle to assist him in pouring hot water safely without having to lift and pour which he found too painful.
We are thankful to Andy, as due to his invention thousands of people with chronic pain have one less thing to worry about and can have a little more independence in their home.
When you first develop chronic pain, or are diagnosed with a pain condition, your doctor may be able to provide you with information about the condition, treatment options and an estimated prognosis. Learning how to navigate your everyday activities with pain usually happens after much trial and error.
We all make mistakes but there are some more common than others. We were delighted to find some tips in the chronic pain community, advice many pain veterans wish they understood at the beginning of their journey.
